This week on Chris's Corner I discuss a range of topics to keep the podcast a little fresh and more relaxed. I start off with the importance of having a set of goals that mean a lot to you. The level of importance can determine how much tough times you can get through. On top of that you can avoid floating through life, not understanding why you're not accomplishing anything while others around you are. I follow this up with an analysis of young people taking PEDs (performance enhancing drugs) and TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) in order to obtain a better physique. The lack of seriousness behind this seems prevalent on social media as well as YouTube and I would like to remedy that. On a less serious not, I rejoice in the new depiction of Darth Vader in Obi Wan Kenobi and what the transfer window holds for Chelsea F.C.

This week on Chris's Corner I speak on one of my favourite characters and hopefully favourite shows, it's of course, Obi Wan Kenobi. With the new show being released on Friday I'd thought I break down some of the details I thought intriguing such as Kenobi's current situation on Tatooine, the utilisation of Star Wars lore, and how the show works along side other Star Wars shows timelines. I think a really important part of this podcast is the unlimited possibilities Disney has to work with when it comes down to Obi Wan's journey between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope. What do you think? What details and events should be in the rest of the mini series. I hope you enjoy this episode and as always I'll see you this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I have created one of my favourite imaginary podcasts with my favourite comedians, Tom Segura and Bert Kresicher. This podcast is for fans of the Two Bears One Cave podcast and for those who are fans of an all round good laugh. These two have created fantastic false narratives such as Bert being fatter than Tom, Bert being racist, and Bert liking animals a bit too much. Wow, this just seems like a bit of a bullying segment. Ah well it's all in the name of comedy and Bert gets his own back in the form of tennis. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this week's podcast and as always, I hope to see you this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I am in Amsterdam speaking on a few topics of interest. Starting off with getting away from normal life allowing a fresh mindset to come back stronger and more grateful. Learning to stay consistent with your work, diet, and exercise when travelling abroad is also something that doesn't come naturally. But when something doesn't come easy then it it makes it that much more satisfying. This is why I started waking up at 5am to provide myself with more time and peace in the morning allowing a struggle to be turned into a positive outcome. As well as all this guru crap, I also talk about the result of the Chelsea Liverpool FA cup final, the beauty of Amsterdam and my plan for the next podcast. I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and I hope to see you this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I explore the epic character of Darth Plagueis. Plagueis was the master of Emperor Palpatine aka Darth Sidious. Sidious famously told the story of Darth Plagueis The Wise as a way to persuade Anakin Skywalker to the dark side of the force because of the key concept of immortality and being able to prolong and save life. My knowledge on the background of the character has mainly be acquired through the book of Darth Plagueis by James Luceno. I break down the character through his early years, his master, his rise to power, the turning point in his role as a Sith Lord, and how he fell to the hands of Sidious. I hope you enjoy this breakdown of Darth Plagueis and as always I hope to see you here, this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I speak with Derek from More Plates More Dates. Derek is known for his killer analysis of pre-workout supplements, the use of PEDs, the fitness industry, and blood work. The conversation goes from his origins as a dating advice site to why not to do a dirty bulk in order to gain lean mass. There is also a sprinkling of memes, lean beef patty, Derek giving us all a chuckle and why not to do PEDs at a young age. At this point you're aware that this isn't the real Derek from More Plates More Dates but I tried to make his answer as fun and entertaining as possible. I hope you enjoyed this More plates More Dates orientated podcast and as always I hope to see you this time next week.

This week on Chris's Corner I go through the backlog of work by the great Viggo Mortensen. Viggo has been in the industry for a long time but doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves from both audiences and critics. This podcast solidifies his importance within the film industry as well as being an all round awesome human being! Viggo Mortensen's performances alone as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings and Tony Lip in Green Book should make hime a Hero but his compassion and understanding behind the scenes earn him this title as well. I hope you enjoy this weeks's podcast and as always I hope to see here next weekend!

This week on Chris's Corner I tackle a couple of topics that I'v found interesting over the past couple of weeks. Starting off with the Batman, an epic film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as the Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Catwomen, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. I go into the analysis of why I think this is the best depiction of the Batman yet and how Robert Pattison made this version of the Batman his own. Another super hero film that caught my attention was Moon knight. I had very low expectations for the tv series Moon knight staring Oscar Isaacs as the split personality main character and Ethan Hawke as the main antagonist. However, the series surprised me with well written dialogue and fantastic character development of which I highlight within the podcast. As well as all that I topic off with a sprinkling of Will Smith's Oscar Slap, the Stock Market's volatility, and the tough times you may face between jobs. As always I hope you enjoy this week's podcast and I'll see you this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I speak on one of my favourite topics of all time, running! This episode goes from my humble beginnings of struggling to run my first four miles at a 12 minute per mile pace, to the point where I can run an average of 7:45 minute per mile. The greatest thing about running for me was the way it changed my mental clarity and allowed me to utilise the darker side of my personality to fuel myself to tackle greater goals. As I say in this podcast it's not just for runners. This is about finding a cardiovascular activity that you love and can push yourself in. Once you find that feeling I can promise you that your progress will be limitless! Anyway, enough Gary V like inspirational BS. This podcast gives you some specifics as well in order to become a better runner and doesn't just focus on my journey. As always I hope you enjoy this weeks podcast and I will see you this time next week!

This week on Chris's Corner I've put together an interview with Tim Dillon. This podcast includes some of my favourites clips of Tim looking like he is responding to my questions and statements. From the war in Ukraine to Austin Texas being a dump this podcast only scratches the surfaces of the comedic genius that is Tim Dillon. These podcast are always the hardest to put together because there is so much quality content to edit through but always worth it in the end. I hope you enjoy this weeks podcast and as always I'll see you this time next week!
