This week on Chris's Corner I speak with George Taylor my brother from another mother! To celebrate episode 100 I thought talking to a friend who's been there since the beginning would set the tone for the podcast. George and I speak about a range of topics from what RPG video games are worth playing, to lizard people ruling the USA, as well as quitting alcohol in order to focus on your goals. George is a light hearted and fun person to talk to who is taking leaps and bounds in his life, while at the same time providing me with some of his valued time to chat. This week on Chris's Corner I talk about the effects of taking a career break! This video is about my experience taking that time off and whether the opportunity to do so will be for you as well. My career break began in November 2021 and will end in September 2022. During that time, I decided to travel as the pandemic had forced us all into one location for two years and this is not reality. By travelling again it reminded me of how large the world really is. I also go into detail about the importance of taking the time to work on stuff that you actually want to work on rather than have to. There is a big difference! I'm not saying I have the answers to your problems haha, far from it, however, there does seem to be some serious practicalities that I describe that you can actually implement. This week on Chris's Corner I speak with the mighty Will Tennyson! The subjects range from how you should take your coffee to understanding that you can achieve your goals but it may take longer than you think. Will is an absolute legend on the fitness YouTube scene, coming into the platform strong back in 2019 and smashing 2022 with 1 million subs+. As well as giving good fitness advice the dude comes in with some insanely funny innuendos, some of which can be seen in this podcast. These compilations/imaginary podcasts are always fun to put together and even more rewarding when you consume the guests content. This week on Chris's Corner I speak with Jordan Green about episodes 3,4 and 5 of the Obi Wan Kenobi series. As two huge nerds who love Star Wars, this episode is clearly bias in favour of the high quality of Obi Wan. However, we do talk about why Obi Wan is a success in the eyes of the fans and why Boba Fett was not. But we aren't just criticising we are also providing solution by talking out some great ideas Disney could implement to make the shows better. On top of all that we also suggest a couple of new ideas such as an old republic series, Plagueis series, and hopefully an appearance of Star Killer. This episode is for the Star Wars community so there's some serious knowledge being thrown about which will tick off your "learn something new every day" goal. I dismantle the series providing some detail on why I believe this as well as what the anime community would agree with my theory. On top of that, I explain my personal favourite anime, the anime with the greatest longevity, and some honourable mentions. Finally, to top it all off I break down why the greatest anime of all time could be competed with by Studio Ghibli and Mokoto Shinkai films.
