This week on Chris's Corner I speak about the warrior archetype. A continuation of the archetype series based on Robert Moore's King, Warrior, Magician, Lover I dive into this weeks podcast with the archetype that seems to be missing from today's western society. The archetype is broken down into the shadow form of the warrior as well as the warrior in their fullness. I try to describe how these forms affect our daily lives and the characteristics that we can strive to move towards or move away from. We all contain this archetype and there are ways of accessing that part of ourselves on a daily basis based off our actions and the way we tackle certain scenarios. I hope this podcast provides some evidence behind accessing the warrior and why it is such an important part of who we are. This week on Chris's Corner I speak about books and their effect on life. I start the podcast off with the two books I am currently reading as well as a funny story involving one which may or may not be exaggerated. I joke but for the rest of the podcast I go into some books that I can re-read over and over again because of how impactful they have been on my life. Ranging from travel books written by such authors like Anthony Bourdain and Henry Rollins as well as harsh stories like Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins I go into many different stories that provide a range of perspectives.
